The world's largest helicopter manufacturer and the UK's leading civil helicopter hub at Oxford Airport is looking for a talented B1.3 Licensed Engineer to join their dynamic team!

Description/Overall purpose of the Job

As a B1 Licensed Engineer, you'll be responsible for the certification of maintenance and repairs on a variety of craft, including the popular H125, H135, H145 and the new H160.

Responsibilities
  • Accomplishment of Maintenance inspections and repairs as directed by Maintenance Supervisors. This is a certifying role that requires a Part 66 License in B1.3 (Turbine Rotorcraft).
  • The ability to work as a team leader and to high standards to ensure continued safe operation of the aircraft.
  • Working knowledge of UK CAA regulations most importantly Part 145, Part M and UK ANO requirements is essential.
  • Completion of maintenance, including airframe structure, power plant and mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Replacement of avionic line replaceable units, requiring simple tests to prove their serviceability.
  • Supervision of maintenance fitters and the certification of their work.
  • Ability to engage with the customer and positively represent the company.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Thorough knowledge of engine and airframe systems and specialised test equipment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Flexible to the requirements of the company and needs of the customer.

Essential
  • Part 66 B1.3 Licence (UKCAA)
  • Currency on type
  • EC135 / BK117 C-2 / BK117 D-2 / BK117 D-3 Type rated
  • Type training on specific types will be given to a suitable candidate.
Additional requirements

Due to the nature of this position, you will require DBS Security Clearance and be eligible for SC clearance. Applicants must meet any/all requirements of ITAR and Export Compliance Regulations plus Travel within the UK or abroad to support related business requirements.
