Job summary

A leading aviation organization is seeking Aircraft Mechanics & Avionic Technicians to support maintenance for large commercial aircraft. This permanent role, based in Wiltshire, offers a salary of £44,000 per annum with a stable Monday-Friday working pattern. Candidates should possess experience in mechanical or avionics roles, with strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work in teams. Additional benefits include health and wellbeing support, annual leave, and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Aircraft Mechanic or Avionic Technician.
  • Experience working on large aircraft (essential).
  • Background within a Part 145 MRO environment.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals and drawings.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting Licensed Aircraft Engineers with maintenance on large commercial aircraft.
  • Carrying out routine inspections and supporting defect rectification.
  • Supporting modification programmes and avionics upgrade activities.
  • Accurately recording maintenance tasks according to regulations.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised working environment.
