Role: Audit Senior

Location: Garforth

Salary: £38,000 to £45,000

This is a strong opportunity to join a respected and well established practice in Garforth. The firm has a supportive culture and a growing audit portfolio, and they are now looking to welcome an experienced Audit Senior into their team. You’ll be working with a broad mix of clients, taking responsibility for leading assignments and contributing to the continued development of the audit function.

Responsibilities of the Audit Senior Job include:
  • Lead audit engagements from planning through to completion
  • Oversee and support junior team members, offering coaching and constructive feedback
  • Prepare and review financial statements in line with UK GAAP
  • Work closely with clients to build strong relationships and understand their business needs
  • Highlight areas for process improvement and identify added value opportunities
  • Work collaboratively with the accounts and tax teams to ensure joined up client delivery
Requirements of the Audit Senior Job include:
  • UK practice experience is essential
  • Ideally ACA or ACCA qualified although finalists will be considered
  • Strong audit experience with confidence leading assignments
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to manage client relationships
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines
  • Positive, proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
