Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Lead Engineer with a strong background in data networking and structured cabling. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, trustworthy, and capable of delivering high-quality work across a range of technical installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee installation projects involving Category 5 & 6 cabling, fibre optic systems, and Audio Visual (AV) integration
• Carry out diagnostics, testing, and commissioning of network and AV systems
• Manage and support installation teams on-site
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards
• Liaise with clients and project managers to ensure smooth delivery of works
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in data networking and structured cabling
• Competency in fibre optic termination and testing
• Experience with AV systems and integration
• Some exposure to electronic security systems (beneficial but not essential)
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• High level of personal integrity, honesty, and professionalism
