Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related field.
  • Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it).
  • Proven experience delivering building services projects in consultancy.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.
  • Commercial awareness and project cost control experience.
  • Full UK driving licence.

What you’ll do
  • Leading the mechanical or electrical design process from concept to completion

  • Conducting site inspections and supporting construction-stage activities
  • Collaborating with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines
  • Mentoring junior and intermediate engineers, supporting their development
  • Contributing to business development, fee proposals, and bid submissions
  • Promoting sustainable design and innovation across all projects
What you’ll need to succeed

  • Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, Hevacomp, IES, Dialux, Relux)
  • Full UK driving licence
