Role description: This opportunity sits within the Asset Management Transformation team, part of our growing and dynamic UK Business Advisory (Management Consulting) practice. This team is dedicated to enhancing the organisational maturity of our clients for making better decisions to maximise value from their built or natural assets over the whole lifecycle, underpinned by adoption of best practices and innovation, better strategies and planning, upskilling workforces and data led decision-making that optimises outcomes for customers, stakeholders, and society in a sustainable way. We are a diverse team of management consultants with an asset management specialism, bringing together experience from engineering, technical, commercial, and business backgrounds.
Our Asset Management Transformation (Business Advisory) team provides advice and delivers change programmes and initiatives for clients across a wide range of infrastructure, asset types and sectors, including but not limited to Rail, Roads, Water and Electricity Utilities, Defence, Environment, Central and Local Government. Our experts in asset management and business transformation collaborate closely with specialists across Arcadis in technical, digital, commercial and other domains, providing both best practice market insights and practical implementation advice. Role accountabilities:
The Asset Management Transformation team has growing and diverse membership, with expertise in supporting clients with making better decisions to maximise value from built or natural assets over their whole lifecycle. We are seeking an Associate Director to join its leadership, who is excited about joining a diverse and growing team and driving further success and outstanding client experience within an inclusive and people-focused environment.
The successful candidate will bring experience of asset management transformation as well as market intelligence within our relevant industries (Infrastructure, Transportation, Water, Energy, Utilities, Defence, etc.). This will be aligned with strong business development and sales generation experience in a consulting environment, team leadership, stakeholder engagement and relationship development skills, and a desire to work in a flexible and agile environment. The role offers the opportunity to play a key role in our growth, and a platform for senior leadership in our business.

Qualifications & Experience:
Whether you come from a built asset or consulting background, you will join an entrepreneurial and inclusive team that is growing fast. Ideally you will be a proven professional in the natural or built asset environment coming from either an organisation which owns, operates, or manages assets, or a consulting organisation, with demonstrable experience of what it takes to grow a business and build lasting client relationships. You will be a problem solver and output thinking individual, who can understand clients’ business needs and provide impactful solutions.
You will also have the following key skills and expertise:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
Relevant industry qualifications to Business Advisory or Asset Management are preferable, and/or a member of a relevant industry body, or the desire of working towards one; including, but not limited to, MCA (Management Consultants Association) and/or IAM (Institute of Asset Management).
