Role title: Associate CSA Project Manager - Data Centres Finland - in Country

Location: In country in Finland or with significant international travel; based 100% in country is possible.

Role description: Play a key role delivering tech sector mega-projects. You will be an experienced Associate CSA Project Manager/Owner’s Representative helping deliver one of our biggest data centre construction projects in Finland.

Role accountabilities

You’ll be responsible for managing all stages of hyperscale data centre construction projects, taking projects through pre-construction, construction, and close out/fit-up.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Pre-construction - Working with the client and general contractor to create and establish the Master Project Schedule and Master Project Budget; supporting contractor pre-qualification, bid solicitation, bid analysis and recommendations; supporting contract negotiations; assisting the client and Client’s team in identifying, scoping, buying-out and scheduling of Owner-direct vendors and consultants
  • Construction - Managing the General Contractor and other directly contracted vendors on the ground; coordinating Value Engineering efforts during construction; working with Client’s commercial and PCG team to develop Budget Management and Tracking; liaising with Client’s schedule management team to provide Schedule monitoring, tracking and analysis
  • Close out / Fit-up - Initiating close out process prior to project completion (typically two to three months in advance); establishing close out documentation requirements with the Client’s document controller; collecting and tracking receipt of all close out documents (warranties, as-builts, O&M manuals, etc.); assisting with City and/or other Authority final inspections and occupancy process; assisting the Client in scheduling, coordination and management of all Owner-direct vendors, consultants
