Qualifications

  • A strong interest in construction and an eagerness to develop your career in quantity surveying.
  • Experience in a similar role or relevant academic qualification.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented, and team-focused attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • GCSE level or equivalent qualification in English and Mathematics.
  • Study of construction related qualification preferable.
  • Appropriate and valid CSCS card.
  • Valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct accurate site measurements and maintain proper records.
  • Support in managing subcontractor procurement, payments, and final account agreements.
  • Monitor project budgets, variations, and monthly cost reports.
  • Prepare and submit interim applications for payment and follow up on timely receipt.
  • Interpret drawings and specifications to support change management and cost assessments.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.

Role Purpose/Objectives

We’re looking for an Assistant Surveyor to support our commercial team in delivering successful projects. To provide commercial support to our senior surveying staff on one or multiple projects, ensuring all operations are effectively procured, managed and delivered to budget and to the highest quality, on time and exceeding expectations.

Key Responsibilities
