A leading media organization is seeking an Assistant Production Manager Apprentice in London. In this full-time, 24-month apprenticeship, you will gain hands-on experience in project management within BBC's Panorama production team. Responsibilities include assisting with studio setups, budget management, and supporting crew bookings. To qualify, candidates must be 18 years old and have lived in the UK for the last 3 years. Salary: £22,950 (+£5,441 London Weighting)

Panorama is the UK’s longest‑running current affairs TV show, covering in‑depth investigations, everyday UK issues, major international stories, and breaking news. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Unit Manager and the Production Management team to support journalists and producers who create our programmes.
You’ll learn best practice and look for ways to continually improve, setting the standard for future BBC programme makers across TV, audio, online and digital platforms.

You’ll study for an industry‑recognised apprenticeship qualification, learning both on the job at the BBC and off the job with a chosen education provider. The academic study involves instructor‑led workshops, tutorial sessions, presentations and group work. Throughout your apprenticeship you’ll gather a portfolio of evidence and work on an end‑point assessment that demonstrates your learning, while working towards a Level 6 apprenticeship qualification.
This apprenticeship will give you a thorough knowledge and understanding of Production Management and the media industry, which you can then utilise during your time at the BBC and afterwards in the wider industry.
