Overview

Salary: £26,247 + excellent benefits. The FTE for this role is £30,220. The successful candidate is expected to work 37 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Be a cook in our school, working at the heart of the school to prepare and serve tasty, nutritious food to pupils, staff and visitors.
  • Follow food hygiene rules and health and safety requirements; create varied menus that encourage our young people to try new food.
  • Help plan meals, taking into account any specific dietary requirements.
About the School

Luxborough Court School is a brand-new, purpose-built school registered for 150 pupils aged 5–19 with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. It features a large sports hall with changing facilities, a bespoke 6th form suite and other spaces used for therapeutic intervention and bespoke support. The School benefits from extensive outdoor space, a central courtyard garden, separate secondary and junior playgrounds, and a multi-use games area. Public transport connections include Chigwell Station (less than a mile away) with Central Line services to London and Essex; the site is near the M11, Junction 4.
