The Asian Chef will be working alongside some great Chefs and an amazing team and driving the menu & business forward, we are looking for someone focused on working with the best and who wants to grow and develop their culinary knowledge cooking fresh, seasonal produce dishes.

Profil

The successful candidate will be:

• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, proactive, resourceful with excellent attention to detail
• Demonstrate excellent presentation.
• Great team worker
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
• A proven track record in a similar role with the ability to inspire and motivate, with experience ideally gained in a similar restaurant/kitchen or boutique hotel sector
• Understanding of flavours balance, a passion for food and your own development is a must
• To be highly motivated and pro-active; act with professionalism and positivity in all interactions
• Experience and proficiency across a range of kitchen management disciplines including stock management control and menu planning; ideally gained in a high volume, fast-paced kitchen
• Contribute to menu development and commitment to team training and development
• The ability to develop and deliver effective training to maintain consistent service standards throughout your team

Asian Chef will have:

• Previous experience as a Asian Chef in a high-quality Hotel or Restaurant.
• Strong awareness of trends and seasonality of produce.
• A highly creative approach to your work with excellent attention to detail.
• Knowledgeable about the food
• Positive and “can do” attitude
• A working knowledge of health and safety, compliance and procedures
