We are looking for an experienced Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) Engineer with a gas background to join our growing renewables team. You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of ASHP systems in domestic and commercial properties. The role will also involve supporting hybrid heating systems where gas integration is required.
Install, service, and maintain air source heat pump systems in domestic and commercial properties.
Carry out system diagnostics, fault finding, and repairs.
Commission and test installations, ensuring compliance with MCS standards.
Work with hybrid systems, integrating ASHPs with existing gas boilers where required.
Provide customer support and guidance on system use and optimisation.
Ensure all work is carried out in line with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
Complete required documentation, including commissioning certificates and service reports.
NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent.
F-Gas certification (Category 1 preferred).
Proven experience in installing and maintaining ASHP systems.
Full UK driving licence.
Good knowledge of heating system design, controls, and commissioning.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Unvented hot water (G3) qualification.
Experience with ground source heat pumps (GSHP).
