Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Arborist based in Newent. The Arborist will perform comprehensive tree care services, including tree inspections, pruning, crown reductions, dismantling, felling, stump grinding, and vegetation management. Responsibilities include ensuring all work adheres to safety and environmental standards, identifying tree species and assessing their health, and liaising with clients and local authorities on compliance matters as needed. The Arborist will be part of a professional team focused on delivering high-quality work for both domestic and commercial clients in the surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Forestry, Arboriculture, and Trees
• Ability to identify and assess a wide variety of Tree species
• Certified Arborist preferred, with demonstrated practical skills in advanced tree care techniques
• Commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and adherence to BS3998:2010 Tree Work Recommendations
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team and with clients
• Experience working with Local Authorities and managing Tree Preservation Orders and conservation area permissions is a plus
• Full driving license and willingness to work on-site in Newent and surrounding regions
