Job description

Are you ready to lead from the canopy down? We’re looking for an Arboriculture Team Leader to join Chaffin Works, where your leadership will shape safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible tree works across our Cambridge sites.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading a team of climbers and ground staff on arboricultural operations, including tree pruning, felling, and site clearance
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely, to spec, and in line with industry best practice
  • Supporting daily planning, task allocation, and on-site coordination
  • Acting as a role model for professionalism, teamwork, and environmental awareness

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in arboriculture, with relevant NPTC/LANTRA qualifications
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • A proactive mindset and commitment to safety and sustainability
  • Ability to motivate others and foster a positive, inclusive team culture
