About The Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to carry out joinery and carpentry tasks.
  • Assist with the fabrication, installation, and assembly of timber structures and components.
  • Carry out works including stud partitions, skirting, ceilings, insulation, floor laying, and door installations.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required standard
  • Follow all health & safety procedures when handling tools, materials, and equipment
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area at all times

Candidate essentials:

  • National 5 (or equivalent) in Maths and English
  • Basic understanding of building principles particularly in joinery
  • Excellent timekeeping and reliability
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic, motivated, and keen to learn
  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
  • Attend college as and when required
