What your job will be:

We're looking for an Automation Tester to help us continue to deliver incremental improvements, new products and features at pace, and create a market leading experience in our Mobile Application, built in Flutter.

You’ll be working as a mobile app software tester in a cross-functional squad of designers, product, and engineers, to deliver both manual and automated tests to ensure quality and performance standards are maintained. We release frequently through continuous delivery, so automated tests are essential. You will be free to suggest new tools and processes, and help to establish and develop a robust, modern test framework for our mobile apps, that complements our web and backend test frameworks.

Ideally you will be familiar with cloud environments (we’re hosted on Azure), agile and DevOps practices, but if not, there is opportunity to learn.

• Extensive experience in testing mobile apps for iOS and Android
• A solid understanding of test automation for mobile apps, including UI automation, API testing, Mocking, Performance testing etc.)
• Experience using app testing tools such as Firebase Test Lab
• Desirable: experience with Flutter, Flutter integration test package, Patrol
• Understanding of usability testing and accessibility testing and security
• An appreciation of manual and exploratory testing
• Good analysis and problem-solving skills
• Advocate of code quality, clean code, and best practice
• Experience using test management tools (tracking, reporting)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or cross functional teams
• Experience working in a CI/CD environment
