A leading provider of digital accounting solutions is seeking an Analytics Engineer in Edinburgh. Our Analytics Team
The analytics engineering team’s mission is to empower and enable the business to make rigorous and impactful use of data.
The role
Analytics engineers develop and build on our data platform to ensure we collect and make available the data the business needs, while maintaining accuracy and security. They engage with our colleagues to ensure they have the knowledge and skills to work with data effectively, provide support with questions, and carry out detailed analysis applying specialist knowledge when required.

Day to day your role will involve
Our data platform is AWS based and we use modern tooling based around Dagster, dbt, dlt, Redshift and Looker. Prior experience with these tools is beneficial. However if you have experience with equivalent tools we’d still love to hear from you. Recruitment is a great chance for us to bring alternate perspectives into the team!
Ideally you’ll have the following skills and experience:
Proficiency with a modern data platform stack
Business intelligence
Supporting Decision making
Stakeholder management

Work pattern for this role
This is a permanent, full time role (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm)
This role will be based in our Edinburgh office, however there will be an opportunity to adopt hybrid working, under an agreed pattern of 2 days from the office and 3 days at home each week.
Mid level: Annual starting salary of £37000 - £45000 per annum depending on experience, with room to progress to £53000 within the band.
Senior level: Annual starting salary of £53000 - £65000 per annum depending on experience, with room to progress to £72000 within the band.
Our starting salaries typically leave some opportunity for growth within the band as salaries are linked to performance expectations to nurture our culture of fairness, learning and development.
