Manchester Community College is seeking qualified individuals who are interested in adjunct teaching at the College on a course-by-course basis; strong academic background is required.
We are accepting applications for instructors to teach Human Services - Recovery Support course. Applicants must have expertise in addiction training. LADAC or CRSW preferred.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Master's degree from a regionally accredited college or university with a major study in Human Services. Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Education shall require an Associate's degree in a subject area closely related to Human Services.
Experience: Two years of teaching experience in Human Services or three years of business or industry experience directly related to the field of Human Services
Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period and may require in classroom or online instruction.
The compensation rate is as follows:
Adjunct Instructor $825 per contact hour
Adjunct Lecturer - $900 per contact hour
Adjunct Senior Lecturer - $975 per contact hour
The Vice President of Academic Affairs will assign the adjunct faculty rank based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.
