Accredited Checking Technician (ACT)

Location: Handsworth, Birmingham

Salary: £31,200 + overtime available – Negotiable dependent on experience

Hours: Full-time, 40 hrs (Mon-Fri with occasional weekends)

The Role – Accredited Checking Technician (ACT)
  • As a key member of the team, the ACT will: Perform final accuracy checks safely and efficiently
  • Support the pharmacist with day-to-day workflow and service delivery
  • Assist in providing a range of pharmacy services to patients
  • Engage with patients in a compassionate, respectful, and culturally aware manner
  • Help maintain high standards throughout the dispensary
  • Contribute to the smooth and effective running of the pharmacy
  • For the right candidate, a progression pathway is available, with the opportunity to move into a supervisory or management position.
