At the time, anti-fraud technology didn’t exist, which meant that completing the anti-fraud checks required in these processes was largely manual. These big life moments should be exciting, but instead are often confusing and scary due to the painful process of completing these paper-based checks and the risk of fraud.Thirdfort helps businesses to facilitate these anti fraud checks so that individuals know they can transact safely and seamlessly with professionals during these big transactions. Our anti-fraud platform provides a secure way for professionals in regulated sectors like Lawyers, Estate Agents and Accountants to transfer funds and verify sensitive information through app based document checks, facial recognition and open banking.Over 1,500 businesses now trust Thirdfort to verify their clients. We are FCA regulated and have raised over $33m in capital from leading Fintech investors Breega and Element Ventures, as well as the founders of Zoopla, Funding Circle, Comply Advantage, Tessian, Fenergo and Fidel.**The role:**Following a period of exceptional growth in our core markets, Thirdfort is doubling down. We are looking for a high-performing Mid-Market Account Executive to spearhead our expansion within the Legal and Property sectors. In this role, you won't just be closing deals; you’ll be managing a strategic portfolio of high-value accounts (£20k+ ACV) and acting as a vital consultant to firms navigating complex compliance and security challenges. You will join a high-velocity, close-knit sales team dedicated to setting the standard for client excellence in the UK.As a **Mid-Market AE**, you are the face of Thirdfort. Your goal is to combine strategic hunting with sophisticated account management.**You will:****- Own the Full Sales Cycle:** Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities within our core markets, maintaining a healthy, self-generated pipeline.**- Consult & Solve:**Move beyond "feature selling." You’ll dive deep into firm workflows to demonstrate how Thirdfort mitigates risk, solves complex business hurdles, and enhances their bottom line.**- Expand & Retain:** Manage a dedicated book of strategic existing clients. You will be responsible for ensuring long-term retention and uncovering expansion opportunities through a "client-first" consultative approach.**- Be a Trusted Advisor:** Build C-suite and Partner-level relationships, positioning yourself as an indispensable partner in their digital transformation journey.**Who You Are:****- A Proven Closer:** You have a track record of hitting ambitious targets, specifically handling deals with an ACV of £20,000+.**- A Strategic Prospector:** You don’t just wait for leads; you have the grit and strategy to book your own opportunities and build a sustainable pipeline.**- Relationship-Driven:**You excel at managing high-stakes accounts, focusing on delighting clients while simultaneously growing their commercial value.**- Agile & Collaborative:** You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy contributing to the collective success of a high-energy team.***For this role, we would love this person to be able to join us in our offices twice a week as being together as a team is valuable for us but ultimately, we trust our team to decide what works best for them.***## You will achieve your mission as our Account Executive by:- Working on an annual target of £775,000 as a combination of new business in signed ACV and upselling existing accounts- Self generating £500,000+ worth of new business opportunities through developing industry relationships and prospecting in to new territories and accounts- Regularly participating in monthly training and development sessions with fellow members of the Sales Team such as call reviews and MEDDPICC discussions- Hosting prospective clients and existing clients at industry events and Thirdfort hosted events in order to continue to build our brand and become the market leader within full service legal and property.## You may be right for this role if you have:- **At least 2 years experience in a New Business sales closing role with a successful track record of over performing against target**- Experience both winning new business and managing & growing existing accounts- Experience selling to Law Firms and Financial Services- Experience working on deals worth at least £20,000 annual contract value- Experience selling a technology/SaaS product is desirable- Experience managing a pipeline of opportunities using Salesforce or comparable CRM- Experience working in a fast paced start up environment***Studies show that women and other less represented groups are less likely to apply for roles unless they meet every requirement.
