A supportive educational institution in Canterbury is seeking a motivated 6th Form Year Manager. This role involves providing pastoral and administrative support to students during their Sixth Form journey. The successful candidate will monitor attendance and academic progress while contributing to a positive school culture. Prior experience in an educational setting is desirable. The position offers a term-time workload with extended breaks and opportunities for career development.
Hours: 37 hours per week / Term Time Plus 10 Days
Are you passionate about supporting young people as they prepare for their future beyond school? We are looking for an organised, approachable, and motivated 6th Form Year Manager to join our successful Post-16 team and play a key role in supporting students throughout their Sixth Form journey.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with students, families, and staff to promote high aspirations, positive wellbeing, strong attendance, and successful outcomes.
This role follows the school calendar, meaning you will work during student term time only, plus an additional 10 days across the year. These additional days are typically used during key periods such as exam results, enrolment, Sixth Form transitions, training, and preparation days.
Although you will not work all year round and your salary is calculated on a term-time basis, your pay is spread evenly across 12 months, providing consistent monthly income while benefiting from extended time off during school holidays.
The successful candidates will be expected to work from GCSE Exam Date (This year 13/8/26) until the end of August during the Summer Holidays.
