A healthcare organization in Newton Stewart is seeking a motivated Pharmacy Support Worker to join their Primary Care Pharmacy Team. The role includes supporting the delivery of pharmacy services by dealing with medicine-related queries and conducting medication reviews. You will work within a multi-professional environment, receiving full training. Job description

We are looking to recruit a motivated, proactive and enthusiastic Pharmacy Support Worker to join the Primary Care Pharmacy Team in our Wigtownshire Cluster.

Pharmacy Support Workers hold a key role in supporting the delivery of Pharmacy Services to patients across the region through the GP Practices.

Day-to-day responsibilities include dealing with medicine related queries, completing level 1 medication reviews and audits. Communication with a wide range of multi-disciplinary professionals and patients. Full training is given via our induction plan.

The post holder will be based within the pharmacy hub, in Newton Stewart Health Centre, working in a varied and stimulating multi-professional environment.
