naturalX Health Ventures is a new financially-driven €100mio evergreen fund, backed by the global leader in plant-based pharmaceuticals. Investing at Series A/B stage and plan to become the leading Consumer Health Fund in Europe.

What the job involves

We are currently looking for an Associate. The person joining will work with a small investment team to support the full deal process, in a collaborative team-based environment - from sourcing, screening, to analysing opportunities for investment in early-stage health start-ups across Europe. Due to the size of the team, the person joining will wear different hats and we are pragmatic about this. Your key duties will include:

• Source exceptional investments in Consumer Health in Europe (and parts in the US) as part of a small deal team
• Assist with or drive market research and industry mapping activities
• Support the investment processes end-to-end including due diligence, negotiation and portfolio management
• Attend relevant industry conferences, represent the business and help build the brand in the relevant ecosystem
• Assist with reporting needs for the investor

Who we are looking for

• Thriving through self-motivation in a small, remote team, with a hands-on mentality
• Well-rounded with a strong analytical mind and superb communication skills (both verbal and written)
• At least 2 - 4 years of work experience preferably in VC or otherwise equivalent (fast pace and analytical environments such as consulting, banking or even as a start-up founder)
• A background or strong interest in the field of health is a plus, preferably with relevant academic background. Likewise, a passion and understanding of "consumer" is relevant
• Friendly networker
• Fluent in English & preferably also in German
• Working remotely but the person needs to be located in Germany, with a preference for Berlin or Munich
