A leading database platform provider is seeking a Principal Sales Engineer to partner with Account Executives and act as a trusted advocate for customers. This role involves conducting product proof of concepts and delivering technical presentations. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with relational databases and cloud platforms. Telecommuting is allowed for this position.

Job Description: Partner with EDB Account Executives in their selling efforts, acting as a trusted customer advocate. Conduct product proof of concepts from initial requirements gathering to successfully achieving objectives and success criteria through clear planning and methodical execution. Deliver technical product presentations, demonstrating core feature sets and key value propositions. Evangelize Postgres with developers to support EDB’s efforts to expand our footprint and demand for Postgres in large enterprise customers. Telecommuting allowed for this position.
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field plus five (5) years of computer related experience. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, the employer will accept two (2) additional years of computer related experience. The position requires five (5) years of experience in all of the following:

Offered Wage: $191,300.00 per year
