Reports To: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

Compensation:

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Digital Marketing Strategist with extensive FMCG experience to lead and elevate our digital marketing efforts across the GCC region. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who has successfully built and grown brands in competitive markets and is now eager to apply their expertise in the education and premium services sectors. Based at our Sharjah office, you will be responsible for driving brand awareness, social media strategies, and digital advertising initiatives. You will lead a high-performing in-house team while collaborating with external agencies to ensure impactful and cohesive campaigns.

Reporting directly to the CMO, the Senior Digital Marketing Strategist should be a forward-thinking leader, a strategic planner, and a hands-on collaborator with strong team management and project oversight skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that focuses on brand building, audience engagement, and performance across the GCC.
  • Lead and guide the Google Ads Manager, Meta Ads Manager, and Social Media Manager, ensuring their work aligns with overarching marketing goals.
  • Oversee and evaluate the performance of external marketing and creative agencies, ensuring efficient ROI and consistency with the brand vision.
  • Drive content strategy and audience growth across key digital platforms in collaboration with the Social Media Manager.
  • Partner closely with the CMO to ensure digital initiatives are aligned with broader business and brand objectives.
  • Monitor digital marketing trends, competitor activities, and platform developments to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Own and manage digital campaign budgets, ensuring the balance of cost-effectiveness with high performance.
  • Create and implement tracking frameworks, dashboards, and reports to measure the success of campaigns.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to direct reports, including conducting performance reviews and establishing growth pathways.
  • Foster a digital-first mindset within the organization, promoting innovation and proactive marketing strategies.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Brand Awareness & Engagement across key GCC markets (reach, share of voice, organic mentions).
  • ROAS and CPA across paid campaigns.
  • Growth and Engagement on Social Media (followers, content performance, engagement rate).
  • Digital Lead Generation (volume, quality, and conversion rate).
  • Website & Landing Page Metrics (CTR, time on site, bounce rate).
  • Agency Deliverables (on-time, on-budget, aligned with KPIs).
  • Budget Management (cost efficiency, strategic allocation).
  • Team Performance (achievement of KPIs, collaboration, and growth).
  • Innovation (testing and implementation of new platforms, formats, or targeting methods).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of digital marketing experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
  • Mandatory FMCG experience with a strong background in brand-building and large-scale consumer marketing.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading teams and managing high-impact digital campaigns.
  • In-depth expertise in Google Ads, Meta Ads, performance marketing, and social media strategy.
  • Hands-on experience with agency collaboration, content creation, and data analytics.
  • Strong strategic thinking and execution skills with a focus on leadership and results.
  • Data-driven with excellent project management and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to work full-time onsite at the Sharjah office.
