Job Title: Automotive Body Subject Specialist

• Strong design and development experience with Automotive OEM in core systems like Body Systems, BIW, Closures, Integration, etc.

• BE/ME/MS in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering / Electronic Engineering.

• Experience with Automotive OEM or equivalent in BIW, Closures, other Body Systems & Integration Design and Development.
• Components functional requirements, Vehicle Product Development, and Testing knowledge.
• Must have knowledge of manufacturing process for both metal alloys & plastics.
• Must have strong hands-on experience in Automotive Eco System.
• Good knowledge of functional objectives of vehicle w.r.t durability and NVH, Crash and Vehicle Dynamics.
• Experience of Packaging Study and Component Design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Good analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.

• Analyze and develop cost saving observations from live teardown.
• Collaborate with Teardown Engineers, SMEs, and other Stakeholders to understand: Mechanisms, Materials, Manufacturing Processes, Costing, etc.
• Work with cross functional teams to reach a common goal.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest engineering standards and practices.
• Create and maintain documentation libraries.
• Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the given vehicle and prepare reports to communicate outcomes.
• Conduct internal training programs for team on the floor to implement changes periodically.
