We are looking for a Frontend Engineer needed for our client’s Information Security team to do feature development for a threat modeling tool. This threat modeling tool is used by Security Professionals and developers.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $65 - $80 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain user interfaces for a threat modeling tool

• Implement server-side logic using Node.js

• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends

• Troubleshoot and debug issues across various browsers and devices

• Apply knowledge of threat modeling and security risks to enhance the tool's features

• Time management

Experience Requirements:

• JavaScript

• Node.js

• HTML/CSS

• Front-end Frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js)

• The project currently uses the Mithril framework: https://mithril.js.org/ ; so someone with prior experience with Mithril would be a huge plus

• Responsive Design

• Cross-browser Compatibility

• Version Control (Git)

• UI/UX Design Principles

• API Integration

• Knowledge of Threat Modeling or Security Risks (preferred)

• Docker and Kubernetes knowledge for deployment aspects would be a plus

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
