Job summary
A leading insurance firm based in Colchester is seeking an MI & Data Analyst to manage and analyze incoming data, prepare reports, and support claims teams. Candidates should have strong analytical skills, good Excel knowledge, and the confidence to work independently. While experience with tools like Power BI or programming languages such as SQL or Python is desirable, recent graduates with the right mindset are welcome to apply. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the development of our data strategy.

In particular, we are one of the leading providers of legal insurance in the UK.
We are currently looking for an MI & Data Analyst to join our team in our Colchester office.
As an MI & Data Analyst, you will play an important role in managing and analysing incoming data, preparing accurate reports, and supporting our Claims and Partnership teams. You’ll also help us improve and automate processes as we continue to develop our data strategy.
To be successful, you’ll need strong analytical and problem-solving skills, confidence to work independently, and good Excel knowledge. Experience with tools like Power BI or programming languages such as SQL or Python is desirable but not essential. Insurance knowledge and a degree would be an advantage, but we’re also open to recent graduates with the right mindset.
