The role involves providing expert advice on employee relations, ensuring compliance with policies, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, a proactive approach, and effective communication abilities. This position offers competitive benefits and opportunities for professional development.
At Yeo Valley, we are about more than just making great food – we nurture & nourish people & planet by making great food the right way, forever. As a co-owned business, we invest in our people, encourage growth, and believe in doing things properly. We aim to be a successful, visionary and purposeful food and farming business powered by people who feel inspired by our purpose and valued as co-owners.
As an ER Specialist you will provide technical expertise to site-based people managers at three production sites: Crewkerne, Newton Abbot and Isleport. You will interpret and apply Yeo Valley’s People Policies, providing sound advice and, where required, support or lead on more complex employee relations matters. You will help ensure that people policies are well maintained and align with Yeo Valley’s purpose to nurture and nourish people and planet within our culture of co-ownership.
We’re independent, British and proud to make the highest quality yogurts, desserts and ice cream under the Yeo Valley brand. Operating from four dairies and two logistics centres in Somerset and Devon, we employ over 1,700 staff and produce more than 25% of the UK’s packaged yogurt.
There are many benefits: free parking, PPE, and your own locker. You’ll also receive a competitive holiday allowance, non-contributory pension, life cover, healthcare, cash back plan, cycle-to-work scheme, subsidised Yeo Valley products and services, preferential rates with our partners, learning and development opportunities; we’re committed to ensuring all employees have the chance to grow.
Closing dates are a guide for the application window, but we may close the advert sooner if we can. We recommend you apply straight away to join us.
Note: Yeo Valley does not provide employment sponsorship at this time. We do not accept speculative agency applications; we will only consider applications via our recruitment portal at the point of instruction.
