Base Pay Range

£30,000-£32,000 per year

Employment Type

Full Time, Term Time + Holiday Camps

Working Hours

Breakfast Club: 07:15-08:30
After School Club: 14:30-18:00
Split shifts – full‑time pay with a break for planning or personal commitments.

About Munchkin Sports

Munchkin Sports provides engaging, child‑centred sports and activity sessions for ages 2‑11 across schools, clubs and holiday camps. Our curriculum supports the Munchkin Fundamentals (Fitness, Agility, Balance, Skills, Spatial Awareness). Coaches are trained, DBS‑checked and first‑aid qualified. Role Overview

Lead the daily delivery of wrap‑around care at a new school provision in Putney. This includes team leadership, ensuring safety and organisation, and creating a welcoming environment for children.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
  • Manage and support an Assistant Manager and casual/part‑time coaches.
  • Plan rotas, support training and monitor performance.
  • Conduct observations, give feedback and run appraisals.
Daily Operations
  • Deliver engaging activities including sport, games and creative play.
  • Manage registers, attendance and daily records.
  • Oversee snacks, transitions and parent handovers.
  • Follow safeguarding, health and safety and risk management procedures.
Quality & Compliance
  • Work toward attendance, satisfaction and retention targets.
  • Meet school and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain documentation and follow procedures.
Stakeholder Relationships
  • Act as main contact for the school leadership team.
  • Communicate with parents professionally and promptly.
  • Report to senior leadership on performance and operational needs.
Holiday Camps
  • Lead and organise onsite holiday camps.
  • Plan themes, activities and staff deployment.
Culture & Improvement
  • Promote a fun, safe, inclusive atmosphere.
  • Contribute ideas to enhance the wrap‑around care offering.
Team Structure

You will oversee an Assistant Manager, trained coaches and support staff who assist with creative play, snacks and transitions.

About You
Skills & Experience
  • Leadership experience in childcare, coaching or activity settings.
  • Strong communication skills with parents, staff and school teams.
  • Ability to plan, organise and problem‑solve effectively.
  • Creativity in designing varied activities.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection and health and safety.
  • Experience in wrap‑around care, camps or children’s activities.
Requirements
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).
  • Paediatric first aid and safeguarding training (or willingness to train).
