A primary school in Durham is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to support activities at the teatime club. The successful candidate will supervise children and facilitate high-quality learning experiences. This role requires flexibility, teamwork, and a passion for education, alongside a strong commitment to safeguarding and Catholic values. The position is for 10 hours a week during term time only and requires the candidate to start in February 2026.
Location: St Godric’s Catholic Primary School, Carrhouse Drive, Framwellgate Moor, Durham DH1 5LZ
Grade: Grade E, SCP 8-11 (£26,823- £28,141 per annum, pro rata)
Hours: 10 hours per week, Term Time Only

The Headteacher and Governors would like to appoint an enthusiastic and committed person to join our team. The role will involve supervising and leading activities in teatime club. The ideal candidate will be flexible, able to work as a member of a team and committed to providing high quality learning opportunities and developing independence in pupils. The Governors wish to appoint a motivated and passionate Teaching Assistant who will make a significant contribution to our school. The successful applicant will support and promote the Catholic ethos of our school.
