Attega Group – Workshop Engineer ( Pumps ) – Maidenhead

The Attega Group are seeking a Workshop Engineer ( Pumps ) to join an enthusiastic and growing business that works in Maidenhead.

Salary up to £40,000 depending on experience

Working hours: 07:00 – 15:30.

Responsibilities

  • Strip, report, repair of all types of pumps, motors, fans, gearboxes, and associated equipment to a high standard.
  • Organise their own time and workshop load efficiently.
  • Manage and update the scheduling system to reflect the above.
  • Keep the workshop clean and tidy (general housekeeping).
  • Update colleagues and customers on the progress of the work.

  • Ambitious and hungry, building, developing, and managing the service division.
  • Self‑starter, managing the jobs going through in a timely and organized manner.
  • Professional, confident, diligent, and takes pride in their work.
  • Strong communication in both face‑to‑face and written formats.
  • Happy to work above and beyond.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will currently be a mechanical pump fitter service engineer with a proven track record, or also be a motor refurber or similar who is looking to step up their career into a more senior role.
