  • Conduct daily workshop briefings to distribute workload and communicate key priorities.
  • Work closely with the Aftersales Manager to review staffing levels, technical training needs, and overall workshop performance.
Quality, Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure all technicians follow Health & Safety procedures, including correct use of tools, equipment, and PPE.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workshop environment at all times.
  • Ensure all warranty and compliance documentation is completed accurately.
  • Support audit preparations and maintain adherence to internal and Kia manufacturer processes.
  • Assist with MOT responsibilities where qualified, and provide cover as needed (MOT licence desirable).
Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven hands‑on workshop experience in a main dealer environment (Kia experience advantageous).
  • Ability and willingness to support technicians directly when required.
  • MOT testing qualification preferred but not essential.
  • Strong technical knowledge of modern vehicle systems and repair processes.
  • Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Strong IT capability, ideally with DMS experience (Pinnacle beneficial).
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
