Workplace Coordinator (Part-time – 3 days per week)

This part-time role is based in our Newcastle office. As the Workplace Coordinator, you will be a cultural ambassador, welcoming visitors and employees, ensuring the office runs smoothly, and supporting workplace operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for all workplace matters, handling incoming calls and providing excellent customer service.
  • Maintain a busy diary of internal meeting room bookings, company vehicle bookings, and arrange collection/distribution of mail and ad hoc courier requests.
  • Order consumables and manage stock‑taking of branch supplies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to support facilities operations and meet business needs.
  • Oversee building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, ensuring they are operational and maintained to best practice standards.
  • Manage contractors on‑site, deliver planned preventative maintenance, and handle ad‑hoc requests and office inspections.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety procedures, including fire safety, signage, first aid, and manual handling.
  • Support the delivery of engaging, employee‑focused events in partnership with various departments and workplace teams.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Highly organised and resourceful.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications.
