We are pleased to be able to offer an exciting opportunity for a Band 7 Clinical Specialist to join our Scarborough & Ryedale Wellbeing in Mind Team for 6 months.
The Wellbeing in Mind Team are MHSTs who work directly into education. This is in line with the government's priority to increase access and availability of mental health and wellbeing support for children and young people within education settings.
The Clinical Specialist will provide clinical leadership to the team.
Our Wellbeing in Mind team has 3 core functions:
Each function accounts for a third of the team's workload.
The Clinical Specialist must demonstrate the ability to manage their time, prioritise and manage competing demands, be able to manage relationships and the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of partners and stakeholders is vital to this role. The post holder will act as a resource and to provide specialist mental health advice, training, guidance, and consultation to staff in educational settings.
The post holder will form part of a locality wide leadership team along with Team Managers and Clinical Leads. With support from the existing leadership team, the post holder will take a lead role in the development of clinical services.
