Compensation: £27,000 - £31,746 / year

Description

Salary: £27,000 - £31,746 / year; OTE up to £55k upon completion of jobs

As a Water Meter Engineer, you will install and maintain water meters for our client – Severn Trent Water. This role will involve working in domestic properties both internally and externally, and directly with Severn Trent Water customers.

You must have a minimum of NVQ level 2 in plumbing or equivalent, or significant plumbing experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all work is carried out according to safe working methods and best practice procedures
  • Carry out job activities according to laid down procedures where possible
  • Identify areas for improvement and report to Team Leader/Site Agent
  • Promote a positive company image through wearing company clothing, customer service, and site cleanliness
  • Show initiative by continuously looking for improvements
  • Maintain the highest customer standards while on site
  • Ensure daily vehicle checks are conducted to maintain cleanliness, tidiness, and safety
  • Attend out-of-hour emergency repair jobs on a rota basis
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent experience
Job Benefits

Self‑employed basis through umbrella company Hudson, with a basic hourly salary and OTE of circa £55,000.
