About the role

We’re looking for a Warehouse Operative (Full time Days) at Tesco. With no previous warehouse experience required – we’ll train you fully. This is a hands‑on role that lets you tackle big challenges as part of a team, stay active and see your work make a visible difference. You’ll put people at the heart of everything you do, build relationships with your team and act quickly to help our customers.

What you will do

• Support store colleagues by assembling orders accurately.
• Pick and manually handle stock.
• Maintain a clear and tidy warehouse and quickly and safely address any potential hazards.
• Ensure stock is received, stored, packed and transported to the highest standards.
• Take ownership of your own and others’ safety while at work.
• Use tools and mechanical handling equipment efficiently.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

Your compensation

Hourly rate: Days £15.17 ph + additional overtime, weekend, and other premiums.

Performance‑related bonus:

• 88 % + £0.30 p per hour
• 92 % + £0.60 p per hour
• 99 % + £1.00 p per hour

Shifts and location

Distribution location: Goole DN14 8GA. Own transport preferred.

Shifts available:

• Any 5 days from 7 – rotating each week between 06:00 am‑14:00 pm and 14:00 pm‑22:00 pm (37.5 hrs per week, including some weekend work).
• Wednesday to Saturday 11:30 am‑22:00 pm.
• Sunday to Wednesday 11:30 am‑22:00 pm.
