Overview

Staff Power is working with a well‑established client seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join their team. The Warehouse Operative plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse facilities. Responsibilities include handling incoming and outgoing shipments, organising and maintaining inventory, and ensuring the workspace remains clean, safe, and well‑organised at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment in line with health and safety standards.
  • Support a strong safety culture and follow established safety procedures at all times.
  • Carry out general warehouse and yard duties, ensuring all areas remain tidy and well organised.
  • Assist with stock control, stocktaking, and efficient storage of inventory.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately for dispatch, including labelling and documentation.
  • Receive, check, load, and unload deliveries, ensuring correct handling to prevent damage.
  • Operate forklifts and move machinery and large components safely (where authorised). FLT licence preferred.
  • Comply with company policies, codes of conduct, and equality and diversity standards.
  • Take responsibility for personal performance and participate in required training.
