Warehouse Operative

Location: Dunstable (LU5)

Shift: Night shift (midnight start)

Pay: £12.21 per hour (£14.91 per hour after 12 weeks) + overtime

Responsibilities

• Picking parcels off conveyor systems using handheld scanners
• Sorting parcels accurately for dispatch
• Maintaining a clean and safe working area
• Working efficiently to meet daily targets

Hours & Pay

• Start Time: Midnight (12:00am)
• Shift Length: 8–12 hours per night
• Days: Monday to Friday (weekend work available during peak periods)
• Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour (PAYE)
• After 12 weeks: £14.91 per hour + £21.00/hour overtime
• Weekly Pay: every Friday
• Induction: 23 hours, unpaid unless you complete the full shift that same night

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience is essential

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Must hold a full UK driving licence and have your own transport (due to shift times and location)
• Safety boots and hi‑vis required
