Standard is looking for a strong, organized, and hands‑on Warehouse Manager to oversee inventory, logistics, and warehouse operations in our Birmingham location.

This role is critical to keeping our install and service teams running efficiently. If you are detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to lead a team while maintaining structure and accountability, we want to talk to you.

What You’ll Be Responsible For as the Warehouse Manager:

• Audit, manage, and report inventory levels
• Recommend restocking and maintain proper stock levels
• Oversee warehouse associates and ensure safe, efficient operations
• Establish and maintain warehouse systems and best practices
• Inspect and verify materials before installers are dispatched
• Ensure material accuracy and job allocation
• Inspect install trucks to maintain organization and efficiency
• Pull in‑person permits for service and install jobs
• Communicate with install, service, and leadership teams to ensure timely product delivery
• Manage quarterly and annual inventory budgets
• Maintain knowledge of company products and services
• Participate in company‑sponsored training
  

What We’re Looking For in our next Warehouse Manager:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience organizing inventory in a warehouse environment - HVAC and/or Plumbing Required
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
• High attention to detail and follow‑through
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Comfortable using tablets, smartphones, GPS, and warehouse systems
• Basic understanding of storage and shipment processes
  

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to lift heavy materials
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Warehouse and office environment
• May require extended hours, nights, or weekends as needed
