Vacancy: Wardens / Cleaning / Maintenance (Live in)

Waterside House Campsite, Ullswater, Cumbria

Fixed term role: May 2026 - September 2026

Salary: £13.00 per hour

Due to staff restructuring, we are looking for a single Warden to join us in the idyllic Lake District National Park right on the shores of Ullswater. The successful applicant will be joining an excellent team who keep our busy site clean, maintained, and running well in a friendly and efficient manner.

Responsibilities
  • Daily general cleaning and maintenance of the campsite.
  • Dressing and cleaning of our 9 pods and 5 glamping Bell Tents to a high standard.
  • Work between 40-45 hours a week during busy periods; two consecutive days off will be given.
Qualifications & Expectations
  • Motivated, fit, and able to work long hours to meet the demands of the role.
  • Essential team player who can work collaboratively with other staff members.
  • Must have own live‑in vehicle, as accommodation will not be provided; a hard‑standing pitch with free water and electricity will be provided.
  • References are required.
