A dedicated care service provider in Cramlington seeks a Senior Childcare Practitioner for waking nights. This role involves providing care to children aged 7 to 17 with emotional and behavioral difficulties. Qualifications

  • A valid driving licence is required.
  • Candidates should be a minimum of 21/22 years old.

  • Work waking nights from 8pm to 8am.
  • Support children's wellbeing and personal development.

Where you will be based

Cramlington, NE23

The Service Users

Children aged 7 to 17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Mild Learning Difficulties

Working Week and Pay
  • Working Day Hours: 8pm to 8am
  • Working Week Hours: Either 36hours or 48hours
  • Sleeps: Not essential but can be taken at £52 per sleep
  • Salary: £14,50 per hours = £27,144 OR £34,944

What you will need/None-Negotiables
  • Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or Level 3 Children & Young People Workforce Diploma with social care pathway. (Level 3 Diploma in Adult social care may be considered if work experience with children can be demonstrated)
  • Experience: Ideally experience in the Residential Children's Services sector or similar setting working with children with challenging behaviour.
  • Driving Licence: Required
  • Min Age: 21/22
