An educational organization is seeking a Volunteer Local Governor for Ravenfield Primary Academy in Rotherham. Volunteer Local Governor (Community Governor)
Flexible hours with attendance at evening meetings (Half-Termly 5.00pm start, 7 meetings per year). Meetings are scheduled in the evenings and the dates are set a year in advance. Meetings generally last for 2 hours and there is one meeting per term.
Maltby Learning Trust has a vacancy for a Local Governor (Community Governor) to join the Academy Education Committee at Ravenfield Primary Academy within the Trust. Governors are volunteers who have an interest in improving outcomes for children and young people and promoting high standards of educational achievement. Academy Education Committees consist of a range of people who all bring different skills to the Committee. These include Staff Governors, Parent/Carer Governors, Community Governors, Business/Education Governors and the Principal. As a committee you receive information and reports related to the Academy.
