ReEngage organises monthly Sunday afternoon tea parties for isolated older people who live alone and find it difficult to get out and about themselves. The older person is collected from their home each month by a volunteer driver and taken to a volunteer host’s home or community venue where they meet with a small group for tea, chat and companionship.

Our monthly Sunday afternoon tea parties are a vital lifeline for our older guests offering a regular friendship link and companionship. Our tea parties bring people of all ages together, develop fulfilling friendships and support networks.

The volunteer drivers usually pick up the same designated guest which means that over the months and years, acquaintances turn into friends and loneliness and isolation is replaced with companionship.
