Veterinary Surgeon - Staffordshire
Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience). Job Type: Permanent, Full-time. Hours: 40 hours per week over 4 days, with a weekend rota of one Saturday morning in 6 (8.30am – 1pm) and one whole Saturday in 6 (8.30am- 5pm). No out-of-hours.

The team is passionate about maintaining high standards and providing the best possible care, fostering an environment where professional development is actively encouraged and supported. The team comprises 9 Veterinary Surgeons, including a certificate holder in Ophthalmology, with others working towards specialisations in Surgery, ECC, and Acupuncture.
Work in a practice equipped with excellent facilities, including two surgical theatres with heated tables, spacious prep areas, Digital X-ray, ultrasound at both sites, large and small endoscopes, electrocautery, cryotherapy, Ophthalmic loops, slit lamp, tono pens, dental equipment, orthopaedic air-powered tools, and a new laparoscopic spay kit. Birmingham Airport is only 30 minutes away, making it an ideal location for both work and leisure.
Your days will be varied, involving a mix of routine, advanced, and ECC cases. The practice sees a diverse caseload, including orthopaedic surgery, laparoscopic spay and biopsy, soft tissue surgery, eye, heart, and skin treatments, arthritis management, and cancer treatment. Referral services in ophthalmology are also offered. Case continuity and building strong client relationships are highly valued, with regular vet meetings providing ample opportunities for support, discussion, and knowledge-sharing.
