Overview

Veterinary Surgeon – Essex / Suffolk border

Fall in love with Veterinary Medicine again. This practice has been a pillar of the community for 25 years, offering unparalleled pet care and surgical expertise. The team values compassionate care and clinical excellence, ensuring every pet receives the attention and treatment they deserve. From routine spaying to life-saving emergency surgeries, the experienced vets and nursing staff are equipped to handle it all. Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of small animal surgeries and consultations.
  • Provide clear, compassionate communication with pet owners.
  • Work as part of a small team of two vets, RVNs, and support staff dedicated to excellent patient care.
  • Remain calm and efficient in emergency situations as the practice offers 24-hour emergency care (OOH and weekends involved, typically quiet).
Qualifications
  • Veterinary degree recognised by the RCVS.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in small animal practice.
  • Strong surgical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine passion for animal welfare.
