A leading veterinary care provider in Cardiff seeks a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team. The role involves providing exceptional clinical care, engaging with clients, and mentoring team members. Ideal candidates will be RCVS registered and bring enthusiasm for surgery. We are looking for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon with a strong interest in surgery to join our friendly team at Medivet Llanishen Cat Clinic in Cardiff.
This is a cat-only practice set in a lovely building, supported by Branch Partner, Lois has PhD Cardiology and Feline Internal Medicine certificate, a Veterinary Surgeon, HRVN, RVN, and two Receptionists. You’ll enjoy working as part of a close-knit team with a loyal client base who truly value the care we provide for their pets.
The role will cover the full spectrum of general practice duties including consulting, case workups, diagnostics, and routine procedures. While you will be confident in everyday small animal surgery, what matters most is that you bring enthusiasm for developing your surgical skills further alongside a strong foundation in first opinion practice.
Llanishen Cat Clinic is well-equipped to support high standards of care, with facilities including Digital x-ray and Adaptix 3D x-ray for orthopaedics and dental imaging, Ultrasound with pulsed wave and colour Doppler, Multi-parameter anaesthetic monitoring, Cryotherapy and radioactive iodine unit, In-house IDEXX lab suite (Procyte Dx, Catalyst One, Sedivue) and Oxygen unit, incubator and Burtons VETair2 Dental Unit.
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week with 1 in 3 Saturdays.
