Leonard Brothers Vets have an exciting opportunity for a positive, efficient, and enthusiastic Veterinary Receptionist to join our friendly team! This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Receptionist, who is dedicated to providing excellent client care, to join our supportive practice in a permanent, full time role.

This is a full-time permanent role working 35 hours per week with varying shifts including earlies and lates. We always try to be flexible and will consider a 5 day work week or a 4 day work week (with one day off during the week). We are open Saturdays from 08:30am - 12:30pm and our receptionists work between 1-2 Saturday shifts per month.

What does the role involve?

As a receptionist, you are the first point of contact for our clients, responsible for ensuring that every client is warmly welcomed. You will be responsible for greeting and interacting with our clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner, passionate about delivering excellent customer service. Being able to effectively multitask and work well under pressure, while remaining calm, is essential, as you will be responsible for appointment bookings, receiving payments, daily banking, managing queries, dispensing medication and a range of administrative tasks including insurance claims, debt and Pet Health Club management, stock control, and any other administrative tasks that may be required. Previous experience in a customer facing role is preferred, as we are looking for someone who is confident and possesses excellent communication skills who is passionate about delivering a positive experience for all of our clients.

We are a training practice providing our staff with ample support to ease into the team and gain experience. We have 14 vets across our 3 branches and an experienced nursing and support team. Our focus is to provide exceptional care to our clients and to encourage our team to grow in their roles.
