Job description

Are you an experienced RVN seeking a fresh challenge, or a newly qualified nurse eager to embark on your career journey? Imagine being part of a supportive, forward-thinking team that genuinely values its nurses. An exciting role awaits you across three practices in Ayrshire!

Why This Role Stands Out

Join a dynamic team across three practices in beautiful Ayrshire, where mutual respect, support, and continuous development are the cornerstones of these clinics. You'll be part of a team that includes a Clinical Nurse Manager and an RVN Business Partner who truly understand and value your role. Here, nurses are the heartbeat of operations. The team boasts RVNs with specialist training in acupuncture, pain management, behaviour, and Schedule 3 surgical procedures. Whether leading consults, monitoring anaesthetics, or providing exceptional in-patient care, you’ll be empowered to excel in your role. Nurses are truly listened to, equipping the clinics with modern tools and technology to help you deliver the best care possible. The three Ayrshire practices are led by four partners—two vets, one RVN, and a practice manager—ensuring every role has a voice. The 60-strong team is dedicated to delivering excellent clinical care and an exceptional client experience.

This is demonstrated by:

  • Treating others the way we’d want to be treated.
  • Supporting each other.
  • Communicating openly and fostering a positive environment.
  • Respecting work-life balance and individual needs.

Rotas and benefits are tailored to suit each colleague, recognising that one size doesn’t fit all.

The Clinical Team
  • 14 Vets
  • 14 RVNs
  • 3 GPD-trained Clinical Lead Vets
  • 3 Clinical Coach RVNs

We believe in continual development and staying ahead of the curve, ensuring you always have a team to lean on, even when you’re not in the same building.

Requirements
  • A qualified or newly qualified RVN with a passion for nursing.
  • Brings positivity, energy, and a team-focused attitude.
  • Provides outstanding clinical and client care.
  • Enjoys getting involved and participating in team activities.

  • Salary up to £32,000, depending on experience.
  • Flexible hours, including full or part-time roles.
  • 1:4 Saturday rota, no OOH.
