We are seeking an exceptional candidate on behalf of one of our long-standing clients — a phenomenal, fast-growing company we have partnered with for more than 20 years. Known for its collaborative culture and supportive, down-to-earth leadership, this is a business where talent is nurtured and careers can truly grow.

This is your opportunity to lead and grow the ecommerce and retail channel for one of fashion’s most iconic names — Vera Wang Activewear, RTW.

With the backing of a global group and the energy of a new brand launch, this role combines digital trading with retail partner management, giving you the scope to drive sales, strengthen brand presence, and deliver a best-in-class customer experience across the UK and Europe.

You will take full accountability for the ecommerce site, manage partnerships with leading ecommerce pureplayers, and oversee the retail arm alongside external partners. A strong buying and merchandising background is essential, ensuring the right product mix, stock flow, and commercial results.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Lead the ecommerce flagship for Vera Wang Activewear.
  • Full accountability for the retail arm and partnerships with ecommerce pureplayers.
  • Blend digital trading with buying and merchandising expertise.
  • Pivotal growth role with a direct impact on revenue and brand reach.

Key Responsibilities

Ecommerce Trading & Merchandising
  • Manage daily site performance, including trading calendars, onsite merchandising, and promotional activity.
  • Apply buying and merchandising expertise to optimise stock, sell-through, and margin.
  • Analyse customer behaviour and deliver measurable improvements in conversion, AOV, and retention.
Retail & Partner Management
  • Drive performance of the retail arm, with direct accountability for partnerships with ecommerce pureplayers.
  • Build and manage strong commercial relationships with digital retail partners, ensuring alignment on campaigns, pricing, and stock.
  • Collaborate with wholesale and retail teams to maximise omni-channel opportunities.
Commercial & Growth Delivery
  • Own sales, margin, and profitability targets across ecommerce and partner channels.
  • Lead weekly and monthly reviews with actionable insights.
  • Monitor KPIs and identify growth opportunities across all channels.
Operations & Customer Experience
  • Oversee the full ecommerce process from product upload to fulfilment and returns.
  • Partner with logistics and customer service to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Keep the site aligned with seasonal campaigns and brand storytelling.
Require skills and experience
  • Proven ecommerce management experience in fashion, lifestyle, or sportswear.
  • Strong background in buying and merchandising — essential.
  • Experience managing partnerships with ecommerce pureplayers (e.g., Zalando, ASOS, Farfetch).
  • Hands-on knowledge of ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento).
  • Strong commercial acumen with an analytical, data-driven approach.
  • Collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to scale a new brand.
